I own one of these tables and had to comment on it when I saw it here on Amazon. This is the absolute best table for a home game. Why?

1.) You want a padded rail. This table rail has excellent thick padding.

2.) You want cup holders directly in front of your belly button, and mounted in the rail, not the playing surface. This one has them.

3.) You don't want a fluted rail to lay your chips in like a craps table. Poker players stack their chips directly in front of the cup holder.

4.) You want speed cloth on the playing surface, not felt. It's the top of the line surface and it will not pill up like felt. If you really want a felt-type surface, get really good billiard cloth from a pool table installer.

5.) You want good firm padding under the cloth. Not the cheap padding that looks like there's oatmeal under the cloth. This table has the good stuff.

6.) You want a round, not oval table for home games. If you're sitting at the end of an oval table, how in the world are you going to deal to the people at the other end??? How are you going to drag the pot? Oval tables are for games with a dedicated dealer sitting in the middle.

You can't beat the price for the quality either. It's sturdy and well-made. Worth every penny. He could charge more and get it.
