We have owned our camper for 10 years. We took it for weekend trips and I endured that piece of foam that came with it that they called a mattress. However, my sciatic nerve was giving me problems this summer and I am staying in the rv for 2 months on vacation, I initially thought we were going to have to cut the vacation short because I couldn't handle the bed but then got to looking for mattresses online. What a godsend! I ordered it, had it shipped to the campground and had no problems getting it put in the camper. I am a female with back and neck problems, camping with my 7 year old daughter. If I can do it, you can too. The mattress is not to firm and not too soft. It is just right! We love it and I would recommend it to others. We have had it about a month now so I can't attest to how it will stand up over the years but for now it is great.
