We bought two of these beds and had them put together in about 30 minutes each. The boys even helped, which made them appreciate them even more. The wood is nice and strong and I see them sleeping in these for a long time.

The only challenging thing with the drawers was the laminate and the fact that there are no pre-made holes to serve as guides. That leads to some splitting in the wood. This was our first time assembling this bed, so I think that it was an overall very successful process and we really like them. They are not bulky, the drawers have a lot of room under them and we were able to get those two beds into an otherwise tiny bedroom.
