I decided to make the jump from a full to a king. After visiting a few stores and tooling around online, I narrowed the search down to this bed. I have to say, I absolutely love seeing this when I walk into the room. The color, finish, and clean look of the headboard are all excellent. My boxes arrived well packed. The delivery service was pleasant and right on time. With two people, the assembly was a total breeze. I can't say much about the slats provided for mattress support because I opted not to use them from the start. Instead, I picked up a metal frame. It fit right into the bed with a bit of room to spare. The shear boldness of this large bed along with the superior support of a metal frame added a bonus I hadn't expected. The bed is beautiful and well constructed, but a nice mattress with a metal frame too makes it look AND feel substantial. It's just a great item!
