I have the electric slash and it was a blast to drive when it was set up to bash. It's brushed, but I could go 30mph with it over a jump and very little broke. The lcg is much better for racing. I know this because I put the proline lcg kit on my slash and I'm beating sc10s out there!!! If you like to be a show off and like to wake the whole neighborhood up, get the nitro slash. SnugFleece Deluxe Wool Mattress Pad - King Review

I live in Florida.....and my husband likes to sleep with a down comforter. We had to get rid of our memory foam pad because it was simply too hot. I read the information about the wool mattress pad and though I was doubtful, I was also desperate because our mattress is just too firm/hard without having something on top. I love love love this. It is just so nice -- it doesn't totally mold around you like memory foam but it still relieves pressure points and it does not get hot at all. If anything I sleep much cooler because I never feel sweaty.

I would guess that if it ever got cold here the insulating features of wool would come into play too.

Also, the fact that memory foam comes with a warning that it is HIGHLY FLAMMABLE always freaked me out...the wool has natural flame resistance. I am buying two more pads for each of the twin beds so that I won't worry so much about the kids, either.

This is a handsome set for a home billiard room. The chairs are small and do not invite you to sit for any prolonged periods. You need to be medium to small build - preferably small. The table is quite functional. It is well crafted considering the bargain price. One of my chairs came with the wrong set of assembly screws and I am waiting for the vendor to send the correct set. They were responsive after a couple of phone calls.

Dimplex Timothy Mantel Electric Fireplace in Burnished Walnut Review

I have owned this fireplace for about a month and it has been fabulous. The Symphony flame effect is the best I've ever seen and I've owned 3 others, though not in this price range. The Timothy came disassembled in a large box. It was packed well and there was no shipping damage. However, I found several of the assembly screws rolling around inside the shipping crate. Thankfully, I was able to find all of them. The high quality of the wood and finish was evident upon opening the box. I quickly unpacked it and began assembly. The instructions were fairly basic and probably aren't required to assemble the fireplace as there are only about 10 parts to the fireplace. The firebox simply slides into place and is not really attached to the wood mantel. I assume this eases filter replacement. This is an excellent fireplace. The only noteworthy complaints are: (1.) The simulated firestarting mode (where the fireplae can slowly build and extinguish) does not work (not really a problem for me as I don't mind it turning instantly on or off). However, as this is an advertised feature and described within the operating manual, it is worthy to note. (2.) The sliding firebox will likely end up scratching the wood on the bottom of the fireplace over time so I consider that a design flaw. (3.) there was a small but noticeable gap between two pieces of the mantel. It isn't large but large enough that light could be easily seen streaming through. I fixed that with a 2 foot long piece of electrical tape applied to the inside/rear of the mantel.
