My wife and I bought this for our large media collection and wanted something that we could grow into instead of having to buy multiple units down the road. This was not only appealing to the eyes, but extremely easy to assemble, and kudos to the manufacture for that. I will be suggesting this cabinet to friends or anyone else that needs one. There are a few things to watch out for... The first thing would be the packaging. They put in the effort to package the wood in a box, and then they put another box around that to protect the initial box, but forgot to put Styrofoam in between the wood and the first box. This makes it very easy to cut right into the wood, damaging it if you aren't careful. Another detail to remember during assembly is when you put your upright sections and the braces together, have a second person there helping you. You can do it yourself, it's just is a little awkward and if you aren't careful the braces will probably bend and then break.
Other than the common sense things, this unit is sharp looking and just as practical.
