This mattress replaced the original matress on our ll Bean futon. This futon is used mainly as a couch in our den and does not get used much as a bed. So far the cover has held up very well, even to the cat. It is very comfortable to sit onand always returns to its original shape after use. Would I buy another one? In a heartbeat. As for the packaging, they say to wait to let the matress fully regain its shape, well , It seemed to come back to full shape almost immediately after removing the wrapping !
