My son built the Island for me and he said he didn't have any trouble with it. The only trouble we had was when my husband pushed it too hard into a wood beam on the floor and the wheel broke. He felt so bad, he tried for a couple hours to fix it. Then I told him the legs it came with were fine with me and that I didn't need the wheels. He felt better. I absolutely LOVE the Island. It's a sturdy piece of furniture and the granite is beautiful. It looks awesome in my kitchen.
Added note: The granite was packaged for shipping in a very sturdy frame of wood. I'm glad they took the extra care.
