Staub American Square Grill 12 Inch and Press - Graphite Gray Review

I have had this grill for about 2 weeks now. I have grilled veggiies, pork chops, burgers and fruit and all turned out perfectly. There is no spatter and no smoke. Using the lid speeds up the cooking time and controls spatter. Very well made but on the heavy side. Heating it for about 10 minutes on medium with a bit of oil gives perfect grill marks. Well made and feels like it will last forever. Clean up is easy too. Pricey but worth it.

My son built the Island for me and he said he didn't have any trouble with it. The only trouble we had was when my husband pushed it too hard into a wood beam on the floor and the wheel broke. He felt so bad, he tried for a couple hours to fix it. Then I told him the legs it came with were fine with me and that I didn't need the wheels. He felt better. I absolutely LOVE the Island. It's a sturdy piece of furniture and the granite is beautiful. It looks awesome in my kitchen.
Added note: The granite was packaged for shipping in a very sturdy frame of wood. I'm glad they took the extra care.
