The model �s front features the lower leg� �s extensor muscles, the tendons and their passage under the transverse and cruciate crural ligaments to their insertion points, and the tendon sheaths, for detailed examination. The M34/1 model� s dorsal portion has a removable gastrocnemius muscle for further study. The model� �s sole consists of removable layers for additional detail--the first layer displays the flexor digitorum brevis muscle, which can be removed to expose the quadratus plantae, the tendon of the flexor digitorum longus, and the flexor hallucis muscle; the second layer is removable to display deeper anatomical details of the foot. The model measures 9.1 x 10.2 x 7.5 inches/23.0 x 26.0 x 19.0cm (L x W x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.)
