Product Description

The Chester bed is an ornate design that looks like a gate. From the arches casted to the spindles, to the winding wire supporting the ribbed, rolling-pin top rail, these grills would look at home in a garden. Even the finish has an earthy feel to it. It is called Creme Brulee, an off-white base highlighted with brown tones and scattered with crackled patches. This bed would work beautifully with many distressed light-wood pieces.

Ignore the other negative review. The user apparently didn't put it together correctly. The bed arrived very quickly, in excellent condition and shipped in three packages; the frame and two identical headboard/footboard combos, with accompanying hardware and instructions.
The base (lower extension) of the headboard, and the footboard (main part) are attached to the frame first. Then the instructions say to add the finials (the round knobs) however if you do this, it will be difficult to attach the top portion of the headboard, so it's better to leave that to the end.
To ensure that the top was seated securely all the way down, we rubbed a thin layer of vaseline on the leg portion which was being inserted into the base, covered the top of each headboard post with a towel and piece of wood to protect it, then gently hammered it into position, going back and forth between the two posts to keep it even. When it was fully in place, the ridges from the top portion were no longer visible and the bed was completely rigid, with no sway or movement whatsoever. Then the finials were screwed into position.
The color is a little darker than it appears on the website, but still is a very attractive and sturdy bed which I highly recommend.
